Frank is the Owner/Broker of Real Estate Direct, a mainstay in Brevard’s real estate since 1997. His company is a corporate sponsor of the Eau Gallie Art District and actively involved in the art community and is known for his philanthropy toward nonprofit organizations. Mr. Schrader has a Master’s in Business, specializing in entrepreneurship.
Irene is a retired dancer and award winning educator. She trained with Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, the Clark Center, and the New York City school of Ballet and Dance Arts. She is best know for the multiple performing arts programs she implemented in the South Florida area. She has several Masters degrees including a Masters in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Elaine is a Senior Account Executive with Marriott International. Her dance career spanned over 25 years and included performing, choreographing, and teaching. As a professional dancer, she performed works by many of modern dances’ most influential choreographers, including: Septime Webre, Twyla Tharp, Martha Graham, Paul Taylor, Bob Fosse and many more.
Amanda Beckett relocated to Florida in the summer of 2016. Amanda is a former Long Islander, and spent time living in the Historic Triangle of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Amanda is a business owner and her background includes working with several nonprofit organizations in duties from education to fundraising. Her children both dance at Brevard Ballet Academy and love every moment.
Marilyn Jollon, APRN
Marilyn Jollon is a former Long Islander that found her way to Palm Bay in 2018. She is a semi-retired Nurse Practitioner who now works part time at a local pediatrics clinic. Her background includes overseeing medical clinics, caring for high-needs populations, and managing business finances. Her grandchildren adore dancing with the Brevard Ballet Academy
Elena is the Founder and Artistic Director of Brevard Ballet Youth Company, as well as the Academy Director of Brevard Ballet Academy. She is a graduate of the world renowned Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Upon graduating she earned the position of principal dancer for the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre, and later the St. Petersburg Ballet (Russia) which comprises mostly Vaganova graduates. She spent eight years performing all over the world at the most prestigious theatres before moving to the United States and earning the title of principal dancer with Nevada Ballet Theatre. Elena is known for her loyalty, incredible discipline, and for her vast repertoire including lead roles in Swan Lake, Giselle, Nutcracker, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Dracula, Romeo and Juliet, La Bayadere, Paquita, and many others. During her tenure as a principal dancer, Elena had the honor of working with esteemed choreographers Val Caniparoli, Bruce Steivel, Peter Anastos, Mark Diamond, and others. Upon retirement as a professional dancer, she discovered her passion for teaching classical ballet. Elena is now in her 12th year as a teacher and opened Brevard Ballet Academy in 2014.
In 2015, Elena was interviewed by Florida Today where she laid out her vision to grow her faculty, her facilities, and her student base in order to support a youth company. In 2018, after growing her student enrollment to nearly 200 students, her faculty to nine professional teachers, and adding 3,000 square feet to her facility, her hard work paid off when she founded the Brevard Ballet Youth Company. Elena had the vision and experience to produce several magnificent full-length ballet productions, to include My Christmas Dream, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker Ballet.
